SSW40 Pneumatic Spinning Wrench

SSW40 pneumatic spinning wrench, applicable to 3.1/2 “-9.1/2” drill pipes and collars. It is mainly composed of two symmetrical components, each of which is driven by an air motor to drive the gear transmission and drive the roller to rotate. Operate the air spring to clamp the air valve to make the roller press the drill pipe tightly; Then operate the air valve handle of the air motor and start the left and right motors. The motor drives the respective driving rollers to rotate through the left and right deceleration mechanisms. Due to the action of frictional torque, the drill pipe rotates accordingly, achieving the purpose of screwing in or out the pipe threads. For pipes with different diameters, adjusting the opening of the clamp head to suit it eliminates the need to replace the rollers, which brings great convenience to manufacturing, use, and maintenance. Pneumatic spinning pliers are a roller type pneumatic spinning tool. Compared with traditional chain pliers, they have the advantages of fast spinning, no damage to drill pipes, and can be used in oil and mud environments, making them safe and reliable. The SSW40 wrench has a braking torque of 1100ft lbs (1493 Nm) and fast up and down threading speed. It replaces the previous spinning rope (chain) in the tripping operation, making the spinning operation safe and reliable, reducing the labor intensity of drilling workers, and improving the tripping speed. Due to the positive and negative rotation of the air motor in the spinning pliers, it is more advantageous to use it in coring operations and handling downhole accidents.
